The Read-a-thon is coming this December!

Earl Beatty Read-a-Thon

EBSAC is holding a Read-a-Thon over the winter break, to promote a love of reading in the Earl Beatty community and raise funds to support our school library. All students are encouraged to participate, whether they read independently or enjoy read-aloud story time. Pizza lunch and a class prize will be awarded to the class with the most reading minutes.

Forms will be sent home with students this week, and can also be printed from here.

Happy reading!

Where did your fundraising dollars go last year?

EBSAC gets a lot of questions as to what we spend fundraising dollars on. If you have been at the school for the last few years you know there have been major pushes to fundraise for larger capital expenses like the field and playground equipment. Still, we can’t forget the day to day activities, programs and supplies that are required by teachers and students on a more regular basis. These are some of the things EBSAC paid for last year with fundraising dollars from bake sales, dance-a-thon, Marlies, movie nights and other school initiatives.

Halloween Parade

Come join the Halloween Parade! Students will be showing off their costumes during the annual Halloween Parade in the gym on October 31 at 12:45pm. NEW THIS YEAR parents are encouraged to join the parade in costume with their kids! We hope you can come join the spooky fun.
