Masking at school

Anyone else done with stinking Covid?

Cases are on the rise and we know it’s a pain to wear masks BUT we would love to see masks worn inside the classrooms.

If you or a family member have Covid, please email Nina to let her know so that families can make their own decision about exposure risk.

Together we will keep our community safe. Thank you for all your efforts!!

Looking forward to the kids going back to school next week?? How about getting excited about not cooking dinner on Tuesday March 22?!?! Every order from one of the above locations (using order code) will allow for $5 back to our school to help raise funds for school tech! Please share with anyone who lives in the area!

Thank you for your support!

Happy March Break

Happy first day of March Break! Some are out of the City but for those that are doing staycations what are some of the activities this week?

I always love our local Don Mills Science Centre: https://www.ontariosciencecentre.ca/

I really loved this article about fun things to do at Ontario Place: https://www.blogto.com/events/march-break-at-ontario-place-toronto/

Want the ocean experience without the plane tickets? Try Ripley’s Aquarium! https://www.ripleyaquariums.com/canada/

Still not ready for indoor events? What about walking the outdoor pavilions at the Toronto Zoo? https://www.torontozoo.com/

Plan ahead. Some places may still be doing timed entrances so you have to get tickets in advance.

No matter what, have fun and stay safe!

Thank you to the EBCAT Team

From everyone at EBSAC we really thank the EBCAT community team for helping keep our Earl Beatty’s safe and for all their time they put in distributing and packaging all the rapid test kits. Our families felt more protected than ever because of your efforts. Thank you to all community members that participated in the program. We really appreciated your support and it was really amazing to see the community pull together during this stressful time. We are sad to see the doors closing on EBCAT and we wish everyone well!

PS-word on the street is that Shoppers gives out a free box of rapid test kits every Thursday on a first come first serve basis while quantities last. Just ask the pharmacist!

Stay safe!

Happy International Women’s Day!

EBSAC wishes all women around the world a happy International Women’s Day.

We celebrate all women in our community and a special mention of our Principal Nina and Vice-Principal Valia!! Our students are lucky to have such strong women to lead them on their educational journey.

Together we will continue to work towards a world of gender equality, a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination.
